Job summary

Cochlear Limited in Abha, Saudi Arabia invites applications for a Clinical Technical Specialist. You will work with surgeons, audiologists and healthcare professionals across the South Region, providing expert clinical and technical support from pre-operative planning to device programming and follow-up.

The role requires a degree in audiology or related field, 2–3 years in a clinical or technical healthcare setting, and willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in audiology, biomedical engineering, healthcare sciences or equivalent.
• Two to three years of relevant clinical or technical healthcare experience.
• Experience supporting surgical procedures or working in surgical environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical guidance across Cochlear’s implant and acoustic hearing solutions.
• Support surgeons and clinical teams with planning, device programming, troubleshooting and patient-outcome optimisation.
• Provide pre-operative consultation, intra-operative technical assistance and post-operative follow-up.
• Design and deliver practical training for surgeons, audiologists and clinical teams.
• Facilitate workshops and clinical education programmes.
• Travel extensively within the South Region of Saudi Arabia and beyond as needed.
