Job summary

Durucooperation in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Field Civil Inspector to oversee civil construction for Oceanarium and Stadium projects. You will ensure works follow drawings, specs, quality standards, and HSE requirements, conduct site inspections, monitor quality, and coordinate with contractors and consultants.

The role requires a civil engineering degree and 8–10 years of experience on large-scale projects, with GCC experience preferred.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Field Civil Inspector to oversee and inspect civil construction activities for large-scale Oceanarium and Stadium Projects. The role is responsible for ensuring that all civil works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. The successful candidate will perform site inspections, monitor construction quality, and coordinate with contractors and consultants to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect civil construction activities, including excavation, foundations, concrete works, structural elements, underground utilities, roads, drainage systems, and finishing works.
• Verify that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Monitor site activities to ensure workmanship meets quality and safety requirements.
• Review construction drawings, material submittals, method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality documentation.
• Conduct routine site inspections and prepare inspection reports with observations and recommendations.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
• Identify non-conforming works, raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Witness material testing, field testing, and concrete inspection activities.
• Ensure compliance with project quality plans and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures.
• Verify material approvals and ensure only approved materials are used on site.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, quality documentation, and daily progress reports.
• Support project handover by ensuring completion of punch list items and final quality inspections.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience as a Civil Inspector in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in Oceanarium, Stadium, Commercial, Infrastructure, or Mega Construction Projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, QA/QC procedures, and inspection methodologies.
• Experience in concrete works, structural inspection, earthworks, underground utilities, and finishing works.
• Familiarity with international construction standards, project specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection documents.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to independently manage site inspection activities.
• GCC project experience is preferred.
