Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. in Riyadh is seeking a Field Application Specialist to provide technical expertise, application support and customer training across Quality Control products and informatics within a diverse diagnostic portfolio.

You will work with Sales managers and the application team in channel partners, travel with overnights, and deliver demonstrations, seminars and trainings to drive opportunities and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Sales experience and/or laboratory experience is required.
• Experience presenting at seminars, workshops or trainings is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure short- and long-term sales results within your application area of Quality Control products and informatics solutions.
• Generate new business opportunities through meetings, demonstrations, seminars, webinars and trainings.
• Provide field application support for customers in collaboration with Technical Support, Service and Sales.
• Plan and follow up sales activities focusing on high-value customers and key decision makers.

Bio-Rad Clinical Diagnostics Group is looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Field Application Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Quality Control, HbA1c, Hemoglobinopathies, and Autoimmune product lines, along with a good understanding of IT systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide technical expertise, application support, and customer training across a diverse diagnostic portfolio.

The right candidate has a positive attitude, collaborating skills and has a proven track record of achieving results. You will work as part of a high-functioning team including Sales managers and application team in Channel partners region.

This role is based in Riyadh and includes travels with overnight stays.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Main responsibility is to ensure short term as well as long term successful sales result within your application area of Quality Control products and informatics solutions implementing.
• Apply your scientific expertise in field sales activities to generate new business opportunities through meetings, demonstrations, seminars, webinars and training sessions.
• Provide field application support for customers utilizing available installed instruments in collaboration with Technical Support, Service and the Sales Team.
• Plan, perform and follow up sales activities to ensure high value customers and market segments are targeted and engaged. Focus on Key Opinion Leaders and Key Decision Makers at strategically important customer accounts.
• Actively seek to maintain expert understanding of the technology and applications within the area or responsibility. Including sharing and training of the sales team. Keep a basic knowledge about the full product portfolio to identify new sales opportunities.

What You Bring:

• Academic degree (e.g. bachelor's in medical laboratory sciences) in a relevant scientific discipline
• Good organizational and time management skills and a strong ability to work both independently and in a team.
• High level of presentation and communication skills
• Sales experience and/or laboratory experience is required.
• Experience in presenting at seminars, workshops or trainings is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English are required. Proficiency in Arabic would be an advantage.
