Job summary

Aramco seeks an experienced Downstream Process Engineer with hands-on FCC expertise to join the Downstream Operation Engineering Solutions Department. You will monitor, optimize and drive performance improvements for FCC units across Global Manufacturing facilities, providing remote and on-site advisory support, benchmarking, and technology knowledge management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
15+ years of refinery operations experience, including 10+ years in FCC operations.
Proven track record of FCC performance improvements.
Knowledge of FCC catalysts, regenerator operations, and product fractionation.
Experience with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or Petro-SIM.

Responsibilities

Conduct FCC performance reviews and benchmark KPIs.
Provide remote and on-site technical advisory for FCC improvements.
Lead knowledge-sharing workshops among Global Manufacturing facilities.
Develop and update technical documentation for FCC engineering and operation.
Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation and electrical teams to optimize FCC systems.
