Job summary

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to lead the shop team in maintaining airworthiness and supporting RSAF vehicle readiness. You will drive continuous improvement, enforce safety, and ensure compliance with MOE, LCM, and RSAF regulations.

The role involves supervising engineering personnel, coordinating training, and maintaining equipment in line with the component repair plan. Expatriate and Saudi national candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level or equivalent acceptable to M&CA.
• Leadership skills and ability to supervise all levels of engineering personnel.
• Relevant type training and equipment-specific training if required.
• Experience working with metallic and/or composite materials.
• Ability to read and understand design/repair drawings.
• Saudi Council of Engineers membership (SCE) at appropriate level before starting.

Responsibilities

• Review maintenance practices and challenge current methods to identify improvements.
• Identify potential capacity improvements within the organisation.
• Monitor personnel standards and address non-conformities or motivational issues.
• Ensure facilities/resources meet contractual obligations and policies.
• Maintain shop equipment and tooling per the repair plan and calibrations.
• Ensure tasks are completed within timeframes to support maintenance activities.
