Job description

As a senior SharePoint Developer you will be responsible for the day to day development and support of the SharePoint environment and installed products. You will work with the SharePoint Team to deliver and support stable and qualitative SharePoint solutions. In this role, the senior SharePoint developer works on building and maintaining SharePoint applications and seamless interfacing between different applications where applicable. The SharePoint developer provides 2ndTier support where needed and assists in the integration of new IT solutions.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• 6- 8 years of hands-on enterprise development experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft technologies and MS driven environments
• Expert in Analysis, design, implementation, configuration and deployment of Microsoft SharePoint
• Deep functional understanding of the SharePoint platform and capabilities
• Ability to work as a lead consultant in various projects
• Strong skills in solution architecture and ability to map common customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions.
• Expert skills and knowledge of the Microsoft SharePoint platform.
• Experience working on Medium to Large-Scale SharePoint Farms.
• Solid understanding of all SharePoint features & capabilities.
• Expert programming with the SharePoint object model.
• Hands on SharePoint Development experience creating SharePoint features and solutions including custom: content types, web parts, event receivers, workflows, and site templates.
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming using .NET C#, ASP.NET.
• Experience with core web development technologies - HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with N-Tier Applications.
• Experience with WCF / WS.
• Developing with XML, AJAX.
• Experience configuring SharePoint Service Applications.
• Experience in working with TFS 2010 / 2012.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, and software development within Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Test-driven development ...etc.).
• Experience working with SQL Server databases.
• Strong understanding and experience with IIS server.
• Microsoft SharePoint certifications (MCITP, MCPD, MCM, MCSD).
• TOGAF is plus.
