Job summary

Confidential Government is seeking an Experienced Expert Certification & Qualification Engineer to join the Engineering & Operations team in Saudi Arabia. The role covers certification, qualification, testing, and validation to ensure systems meet quality and deployment standards.

We are seeking an experienced Expert Certification & Qualification Engineer to join our Engineering & Operations team.

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise across certification, qualification, testing, and validation activities, ensuring that systems and solutions meet required quality, compliance, and deployment standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support complex Proof of Concept (PoC) and First-of-Kind (FoK) activities, including defining objectives, success criteria, test sites, and procedures.
• Review Verification & Validation (V&V) plans, test plans, test cases, and testing outcomes for various system components and solutions.
• Assess test evidence, reports, and conformity documentation to support system certification and deployment readiness.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineering teams and relevant certification entities to support certification activities.
• Analyze testing risks, early failures, defects, and operational-site performance, and recommend mitigation and improvement actions.
• Provide technical recommendations for go/hold decisions based on PoC, FoK, V&V outcomes, defect status, and compliance evidence.
• Review System Integration Testing (SIT), Proof of Performance (PoP), and software release-readiness results before operational deployment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, vendors, and OEMs to ensure the successful delivery of certification and qualification activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
• 6-8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Hands-on experience in system testing, validation, certification, compliance, and integration.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, vendor management, systems planning, and technical implementation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
