Our luxury resort in Jeddah is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our team and oversee the creation of exquisite Indian and Pakistani cuisine for our seasonal guests. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and creativity while working with high‑quality ingredients and state‑of‑the‑art kitchen equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop menus and recipes that reflect the authentic flavors of Indian and Pakistani cuisine, while also incorporating seasonal ingredients.
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and ordering to ensure efficient operations.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques, portion control, and presentation.
  • Monitor food quality and consistency to maintain high standards of taste and presentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to plan special events and promotions featuring Indian/Pakistani cuisine.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new cooking techniques to continuously elevate our menu offerings.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high‑end restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Expertise in Indian/Pakistani cuisine with a strong understanding of spices, herbs, and traditional cooking methods.
  • Ability to manage a team in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff, communicate with other departments, and interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for menu planning, cost management, inventory control, etc.
  • Knowledge of health codes and regulations related to food handling.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays as needed for seasonal operations.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar level position.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages, such as Hindi or Urdu, are a plus).
  • Must be an Indian or Pakistani national.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a multicultural environment.
