Head Chef - Indian Cuisine (Jeddah)

We are in search of a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our Indian cuisine kitchen in Jeddah. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing authentic Indian dishes while maintaining quality and consistency. Your role will include managing a team of chefs, ordering supplies, creating menus, and maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and create authentic Indian dishes using traditional recipes
  • Train and manage a team of chefs to ensure high‑quality food production
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • Maintain food safety standards and ensure proper hygiene practices are followed at all times
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and presentation
  • Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to management
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in an Indian restaurant or hotel kitchen (preferably in the Middle East)
  • Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, and spices
  • Ability to lead a team effectively and maintain a positive work environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • Biometric passport (preferred)
  • Experience with menu creation, food cost control, and inventory management
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
Salary

The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

Location

This position is located in Jeddah. We welcome candidates from all nationalities with a preference for Indian chefs.
