Responsibilities

• Setting up excavation sites according to safety standards and regulations
• Operating excavators as directed by supervisors
• Digging trenches, backfilling holes, or moving earth from one location to another
• Dismantling structures such as buildings or bridges using hydraulic hammers or other tools when necessary
• Monitoring machine performance during operations and informing supervisors of any problems
• Ensuring all safety measures are followed throughout operations
• Carrying out minor repairs on machinery when required
