Job summary

Talent Blueprint FZ LLC is seeking an experienced Village Support Operations Duty Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for event villages, accommodation facilities, and related areas. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate across departments, and ensure safety and service standards during large-scale events.

The role requires 5+ years in event operations, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple operational requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in event operations, venue operations, or large-scale event support services.
• Experience in duty management or supervisory roles within events is essential.
• Experience supporting major sporting events, festivals, or large temporary event sites is desirable.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during live events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations within the event village and ensure services run efficiently.
• Coordinate with operations, logistics, facilities, security, housekeeping, catering and other service teams.
• Monitor readiness, service delivery, and site conditions during events.
• Supervise on-site teams, assign duties, and manage staffing and resources.
• Act as primary contact for operational issues and escalate to senior management when needed.
• Respond promptly to incidents and service requests to minimize disruption.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety and compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate accommodation, transport, access, welfare and other support services as applicable.
• Maintain shift handovers, reports, incident logs and operational documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely service and issue resolution.
• Support event setup, live operations and breakdown activities.
