Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimation Manager / Senior Estimation Engineer – Mechanical to join our team in the Oil & Gas / EPC sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical estimation for EPC projects, including piping, static and rotating equipment, and other mechanical systems. This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, supporting tender submissions, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities
  • Review tender documents including scope of work, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates for mechanical components, including piping, equipment, and structural works.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Solicit and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project teams to ensure estimate accuracy.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for bids and tenders.
  • Analyze historical data and market trends to improve pricing strategies.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client clarifications when necessary.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in estimation and pricing stages.
  • Maintain and update cost databases, estimation tools, and benchmark information.
