Job summary

India Abroad Publications Inc. in Jeddah seeks a qualified English Tutor to provide individualized instruction for students of all ages.

You will create lesson plans, assess progress, provide feedback to students and parents, and tailor lessons to each learner’s needs using a variety of engaging methods. The position expects at least a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, two years of tutoring or teaching experience, and native English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Education or related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a tutor or teacher.
• Native English speaker preferred.
• Experience teaching English as a second language is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work with students of all ages and levels.
• Patient, flexible, and able to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized lesson plans based on student's strengths, weaknesses, and goals.
• Provide engaging and interactive lessons to improve reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to keep students motivated and interested in learning.
• Assess student progress through regular quizzes, tests, and assignments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on areas for improvement.
• Communicate with parents regularly about student's progress.
• Collaborate with other tutors or teachers to share best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with current educational trends and techniques.
