Job summary

GE Vernova Grid Solutions invites fresh graduates to join an Early Career Trainee program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will support high-voltage GIS substation and synchronous condenser projects, gaining practical experience in customer project engineering under the guidance of experienced engineers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, safety, and continuous improvement as you develop technical and project execution skills for a resilient, sustainable grid.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Fresh graduate or early-career professional with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Interest in substations, power systems, GIS, rotating machines, power plants, FACTS, or related infrastructure projects.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to live and work in Riyadh and travel within Saudi Arabia as needed.
• The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities and deliverables in line with project requirements, technical specifications, applicable standards, and safety expectations.
• Assist with layouts, schematics, technical documents, bills of quantities, customer submissions, and follow-up of open engineering actions.
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support coordination with customers, suppliers, site teams, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, clarification sessions, training, and site visits with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Contribute to quality, EHS awareness, Lean, and continuous improvement activities by sharing observations, lessons learned, and improvement ideas.
