Job summary

HydraTech Homeland Security CO. is seeking a Tender Estimator to review tender documents and drawings, prepare BOQs and take-offs, and assist in cost estimation for ELV and security system projects.

The role involves obtaining supplier quotations, preparing technical and commercial tender submissions, and coordinating with procurement and business development teams to ensure timely bid preparation and compliant submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience with ELV systems and tender preparation.
• Ability to prepare BOQs and quantity take-offs from engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of estimation methods and tender preparation.
• Understanding supplier quotation processes and material pricing.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tender submission deadlines.

• Prepare BOQs and quantity take-offs from AutoCAD drawings
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for ELV and security system projects
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and OEMs
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for tender submissions
• Coordinate with engineering procurement and business development teams during bid preparation
• Maintain supplier quotations estimation records and project documentation
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings when required
• Ensure compliance with project specifications tender requirements and company standards

• Good knowledge of ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Public Address, Audio Visual, Intercom, Gate Barrier, and related security systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prepare BOQs and quantity take-offs from engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of estimation methods and tender preparation.
• Good understanding of supplier quotation processes and material pricing.
• Ability to understand Arabic tender documents is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tender submission deadlines.
