Electromechanical Maintenance Technician - Production Equipment

Job Purpose

Perform breakdown, preventive, and corrective maintenance of industrial production machinery in a plastic/flexible packaging manufacturing environment, ensuring minimum downtime and safe equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in production machinery.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules and manuals.
• Respond to breakdowns and restore machinery safely with minimum downtime.
• Inspect equipment, replace defective parts, and coordinate spare requirements.
• Perform assigned calibration activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams.
• Follow HSE, PPE, and 5S standards.

Requirements

• Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or related field.
• Hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Experience in plastic, flexible packaging, printing, extrusion, lamination, or similar industries is preferred.
• Willingness to work rotating/alternating shifts.
• Ability to work in a hands-on industrial environment and under pressure.
