Job summary

Jotun Saudia Co. Ltd. in Jeddah is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to maintain assets and support preventive and corrective maintenance across production lines.

The role covers hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems, with focus on gearboxes, motors, pumps, and VFDs, and requires data updates in CMMS systems. The candidate will work across shifts and participate in commissioning of new assets.

Qualifications

• Vocational Technical course or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electromechanical.
• 4-6 years of experience in electro-mechanical and industrial facility maintenance.
• Fluency in Arabic & English – both verbally and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance tasks following standards and procedures with focus on Preventive Maintenance actions and inventory control.
• Participate in root cause analysis of breakdowns and support preventive & corrective maintenance of production lines and equipment.
• Understand and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems including pumps, gearboxes, motors, VFDs, HVAC and bearings.
• Support shift operations, emergency maintenance, electrical and mechanical repairs, and commissioning of new assets following HSEQ and engineering standards.
• Update maintenance records in CMMS and related documentation.

Job description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Electro-Mechanical Technician, will be responsible for maintaining assets in accordance with the standard technical practice and manufacturers’ requirements to ensure the right equipment reliability. Follow local, regional, segment, and Group (especially HSEQ) requirements, objectives, and guidelines for performing the work.

This position is based in Jeddah and will report to the Assistant Manager – Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance tasks following the standards and procedures ensuring the right quality in the most effective way along with having experience in utilizing and giving inputs for data updates in the Matrix Maintenance System, with focus on Preventive Maintenance actions, Standard Jobs and spare part lists & inventory control.
• Actively participate in root cause analysis of re-occurring and critical breakdowns and failures as well as troubleshoot the faults individually and provide necessary support towards Preventive & Corrective Maintenance of production lines and industrial equipment.
• Must have a good level of understanding and grip on the basics of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Industrial Electrical and Mechanical systems and troubleshooting of following but not limited to Pumps, Gearboxes, blowers, fans, seals, Motors, VFD’s, compressors, HVAC, bearings etc.
• Support the multiple shifts and conduct the emergency maintenance, electrical and mechanical repairs as and when required as well as support the commissioning process for new assets based on the requirement HSEQ- and engineering standards with work permit procedures.
• Provide support in different PLC Programming languages, control networks, Industrial control systems and reading and understanding basic mechanical, electrical and pneumatic diagrams and drawings.
• Provide support to update all the necessary records of maintenance, estimation through CMMS- computerized maintenance management system.

• Fluency in Arabic & English – both verbally and written
