Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician in Saudi Arabia to troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and inspect mechanical assemblies, and modify non-conforming equipment under supervision. You will collaborate with Engineering and Reliability teams, review procedures, configure test stations, and analyze data from environmental tests to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical diploma or Associates degree in Electrical/Electronics field or higher.
• 2 years of related experience in electro-mechanical function in oil and Gas industry/domain.
• Advanced skills in soldering and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical devices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
• Proficiency in measurement and gauging equipment and processes.
• Proficiency in use of electrical test tools (multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers).
• Strong written and oral English skills.

Responsibilities

• Review procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy.
• Configure test stations and systems.
• Analyze and interpret data from environmental tests, and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Assist in the set-up of experiments and record data with Engineering and Reliability groups.
• Test and evaluate performance and repair general purpose test equipment if required.
• Provide leadership/coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.
• Work in compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician you will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform the visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. Whilst assisting in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform all test with minimal instruction.

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy
• Configuring test stations and systems
• Analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests, and troubleshooting equipment problems
• Assisting in the set-up of experiments and the recordings of experimental data in collaboration with Engineering and Reliability groups
• Testing and evaluating the performance and, if required, repairing general purpose test equipment
• Providing leadership/coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence
• Working in compliance with HS&E policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a 2 year technical diploma or Associates degree in Electrical/Electronics field or higher
