Job summary

Workato in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia seeks an Electrician to install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems following applicable codes. The candidate should read blueprints, use hand tools and test equipment, and have at least 1 year of experience, or be open to candidates with no experience for foreigners. English proficiency and safety awareness are required.

Salary is 1,600 SAR per month with health insurance, vacation, and paid holidays in a secure, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with hand tools and electronic test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical code requirements.
• Good communication skills in English (any additional language is a plus).
• Minimum 1 year of working experience as an electrician (for foreigners we are ready to consider a person without work experience).
• Adherence to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, inspect and repair wiring, fixtures, control devices and other electrical system components in accordance with applicable codes.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components.
• Assemble, install and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances or fixtures using hand tools or power tools.
• Inspect electrical systems including power supplies, switches and circuits for proper functioning.
• Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring using testing devices such as ohmmeters or voltmeters.
• Plan layout of wiring according to specified diagrams or blueprints.
