Electrical Technician II

KBR is looking for an Electrical Technician II – to carry out routine or highly skilled plant electrical maintenance & repair work in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities
- To carry out and/or coordinate the preventive & corrective maintenance jobs as directed by maintenance supervisor.
- To ensure adherence of safety standards, procedure and work instruction during the execution of various jobs related to plant maintenance and inspection jobs such as SWP permit, proper assessment of work, organizing of proper tools, etc.
- To follow and ensure the adherence of relevant procedure and work instructions during the execution of jobs.
- To ensure the assigned job is completed in a qualitative manner.
- To assist department in compliance with QMS.
- To assist department in identification, monitoring & control of environmental aspects and impacts.
- To perform timely diagnosis of routine or non-routine electrical faults and suggest necessary measures for troubleshooting.
- Timely reporting of incidents to supervisor.
- To ensure good housekeeping.
- To carry out and present safety toolbox talks.
- On‑site training & development of subordinates.
- Proactive safety aptitude and behavior.
- Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing mechanical and electro‑hydraulic systems.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Ability to perform work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good command of oral and written English.
- Ensure that personnel have the skills, training and all needed resources, equipment and tools to conduct routine maintenance activities safely and effectively, according to the contract terms and conditions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.
- Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third‑party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities.
- Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
- Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
- Strategic management skills.
- Ability to achieve business results working in a multi‑cultural environment.
