Job summary

L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering is seeking a Site Engineer Electrical for a 380kV Substation Project in Saudi Arabia. You will supervise electrical installation activities, coordinate with QA/QC, HSE and commissioning teams, and ensure compliance with SEC standards, IFC drawings and project schedules.

Immediate joiner preferred for iqama transfer candidates. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years' experience in EHV/HV substations, preferably 380kV,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EHV/HV Substation Projects, preferably 380kV.
• Experience in SEC projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of substation construction, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Familiarity with SEC standards, safety regulations and quality requirements.
• SEC/Client-approved candidates will be given preference.
• Immediate joiner and iqama transferable candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of GIS equipment, power transformers, switchgear, control and protection systems, and cabling.
• Ensure construction activities comply with SEC specifications, approved IFC drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, HSE, testing and commissioning teams.
• Monitor site progress, quality and productivity to meet milestones.
• Prepare site reports, inspections and work completion records.
• Support testing, commissioning, energization and handover activities.
