AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Electrical Inspector to ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards across critical infrastructure projects. You will inspect systems, review drawings, and advise on corrective actions to guarantee conformance with NEC/IEC standards.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Professional certification as an Electrical Inspector is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Inspector or similar role in the construction industry, particularly within the KSA or Gulf region.
• Experience working for Bridges projects is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications for documentation and reporting.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and rejections for future reference and regulatory purposes.
• Liaise with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address electrical compliance issues and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Participate in meetings and discussions related to electrical inspections, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
• Promote and uphold electrical safety protocols and practices in accordance with industry standards.
• Conduct safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure proper implementation of safety measures.
