Job summary

DAR AL RIYADH seeks an experienced Electrical Inspector to review MV/LV distribution, lighting, earthing, emergency power and life-safety installations on large-scale mixed-use developments in Riyadh. You will verify conformance with approved documents and witness tests.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, at least 10 years of inspection experience, and knowledge of SEC, IEC, NFPA, NEC, and Saudi Building Code. Saudi Council of Engineers registration is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical inspection experience.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, earthing, emergency power and life-safety systems.
• Familiarity with SEC, IEC, NFPA, NEC and Saudi Building Code requirements.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect MV/LV distribution, lighting, small power, earthing, emergency power and life-safety installations.
• Review and respond to electrical Requests for Inspection.
• Verify containment, cabling terminations, panels, fixtures and equipment against approved documents.
• Witness insulation-resistance, continuity, earth-resistance, functional and operational tests.
• Inspect residential, commercial, retail, office, clubhouse and external electrical works.
• Identify defective or non-compliant installations and monitor corrective actions.
• Support energisation, commissioning, snagging and handover activities.

Previous consultancy or construction supervision experience is preferred. Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration is required.
