Job summary

NEW Alfa International is seeking an experienced engineer to support electrical construction activities on-site in Saudi Arabia. The role involves reporting to the Engineer, coordinating a large labor force, and ensuring accurate interpretation of drawings and system functions.

The candidate should have extensive electrical construction exposure (15 years; GCC experience preferred) and hold an electrical Diploma.

Qualifications

• 15 years of electrical construction experience, with 10 years in GCC.
• Electrical Diploma preferable.
• Experience leading large site teams (>72 workers, 9 units).
• Ability to read, analyze and extract materials from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Engineer and manage site activities.
• Lead a team of 72 labors across 9 units with foremen.
• Read and analyze drawings and validate system functions.
• Define man-hours and manpower for each activity and scope.
• Follow method statements and ensure SOP adherence.
• Plan and lock ahead for at least 2 weeks within the project plan.
• Monitor productivity and inspect activities for approval.

Job description

1- Reporting to the Engineer .

2- Should have a 15 years of Electrical construction experience ( 10 of them GCC ) .

3- Should hold an education certificate ( Electrical Diploma Preferable)

4- Details understanding of Electrical construction systems ( LV , MV and Low Current Systems )

5- Acting as an assistant engineer .

6- Lead a team of more than 72 labor ( 9 unit ) with the formans .

7- Read and understand and analyse the drawings .

8- Understand the systems functions .

9- Extract the materials and quantities required for the area responsible for .

10-Follow the Method of statement for all the related activities.

11-Define the Man-Hour required for each activity in within his scope .

12-Accordingly define the required manpower for his area / scope.

13-Distribute the manpower for the activities and define the exact task , area for each unit .

14-Monitor the productivity index of the manpower .

15-Plan the lock a head for the activities for at least 2 weeks within the project plan . the

16-Follow the attendances of the site team and follow the related SOP .

17-Ensure that all the activities are inspected and approved by the concerns .
