Job summary

NEW Alfa International seeks an Assistant Electrical Engineer to support site activities in Medina. You will report to the Engineer and guide a large crew across multiple units, ensuring alignment with drawings, systems functionality, and project timelines.

The role requires deep electrical construction knowledge, 15 years of experience with at least 10 in GCC, and leadership of substantial manpower. A Diploma in Electrical discipline is preferred, with strong adherence to method statements and

Qualifications

• 15 years of electrical construction experience, including at least 10 years in GCC environments.
• Education certificate in Electrical Diploma preferred.
• Experience leading large teams on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Engineer.
• Act as an assistant engineer on site.
• Lead a team of over 72 labour across 9 units with foremen.
• Read and analyse drawings and understand system functions.
• Extract materials and quantities for the area of responsibility.
• Follow the method statement for all related activities.
• Define man-hours required for each activity within scope.
• Define required manpower for area scope.
• Distribute manpower and assign exact task areas per unit.
• Monitor productivity index of manpower.
• Plan lock-head activities for at least two weeks in the project plan.
• Monitor attendance of site team and adhere to SOPs.
• Ensure activities are inspected and approved by concerns.

• 1- Reporting to the Engineer
• 2- Should have a 15 years of Electrical construction experience 10 of them GCC
• 3- Should hold an education certificate Electrical Diploma Preferable
• 4- Details understanding of Electrical construction systems LV MV and Low Current Systems
• 5- Acting as an assistant engineer
• 6- Lead a team of more than 72 labor 9 unit with the formans
• 7- Read and understand and analyse the drawings
• 8- Understand the systems functions
• 9- Extract the materials and quantities required for the area responsible for
• 10-Follow the Method of statement for all the related activities
• 11-Define the Man-Hour required for each activity in within his scope
• 12-Accordingly define the required manpower for his area scope
• 13-Distribute the manpower for the activities and define the exact task area for each unit
• 14-Monitor the productivity index of the manpower
• 15-Plan the lock a head for the activities for at least 2 weeks within the project plan the
• 16-Follow the attendances of the site team and follow the related SOP
• 17-Ensure that all the activities are inspected and approved by the concerns
• 3- Should hold an education certificate ( Electrical Diploma Preferable)
