Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with strong experience in water and wastewater projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, supervising, testing, and commissioning electrical systems for pumping stations, treatment plants, water transmission networks, and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and develop electrical engineering drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), load schedules, control schematics, and equipment specifications.
• Prepare electrical calculations, including voltage drop, short circuit, motor starting, grounding, and cable sizing.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment such as pumps, motors, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, generators, and SCADA systems.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams to ensure project integration.
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and utility standards.
• Conduct site inspections, verify contractor work, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
