Job summary

Rime in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Edge AI/CV Orchestration Engineer to scale our core engine that manages AI workloads on resource-constrained edge devices, including NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano. You will bridge backend infrastructure and deployed hardware to ensure efficient, reliable operation at scale.

You will design features for the Python-based orchestration engine, optimize resource allocation, and develop APIs and microservices with CI/CD pipelines for remote deployment and updates

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in backend development, systems programming, or DevOps; distributed or embedded systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend services, asyncio, and system-level scripting.
• Hands-on NVIDIA Jetson platform experience (Orin Nano, Xavier NX, AGX) and JetPack SDK tools.
• Deep Linux knowledge including system administration, scripting, networking, and performance tuning.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Engine Enhancement: design, develop, and optimize features for the Python-based backend orchestration engine.
• System Management: implement solutions for resource allocation (CPU, GPU, memory), task scheduling, and priority management across edge devices.
• Performance Optimization: profile and tune AI/CV pipelines on Jetson; resolve bottlenecks in Linux environments.
• Backend & API Development: build and maintain scalable services and APIs (REST, gRPC) for remote deployment, monitoring, and updating of tasks.
• Deployment & CI/CD: improve automated deployment pipelines to push new models and logic to devices in the field.
• Troubleshooting: act as primary troubleshooter for complex system-level issues across AI models, orchestration code, and Linux on Jetson hardware.
