Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or closely related field.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) preferred.
• Up-to-date lab safety certification (e.g., CLEAPSS) and strong safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry teaching aligned with UK curriculum.
• Emphasize hands-on laboratory learning and practical work.
• Utilize and manage state-of-the-art laboratory facilities effectively.
• Design engaging lessons developing inquiry, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Prepare students for practical components of external examinations.
• Monitor attainment and progress using data and provide interventions as needed.
• Ensure strict adherence to laboratory health and safety standards.
