The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 3+ years of applications engineering in well construction, and 7+ years in oil and gas, with travel and on-call duties.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in oil and gas.
• Minimum 3 years of applications engineering in well construction.
• Experience with Baker Hughes as an applications engineer in Well Construction.
• Ability to manage, develop, coach and mentor teams across organizational boundaries.
• On-call availability outside normal business hours.
• Willingness to travel to rig sites and client facilities.
• Understanding of P/L and technical job planning requirements.

Aufgaben

• Deliver flawless execution through involvement in pre-planning, job execution, and post-job analysis.
• Work with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesperson to understand the client’s well construction or production objectives.
• Designing well profiles and perform applications engineering task including risk mitigation plans and contingency plans that meet client objectives, maximize revenue, and ensure future job assignments.
• Work on field incidents related to products/services and participate in Incident Investigations; provide sales support and product recommendations.
