Job summary

The Baker Hughes internal title for this role is: Services Experienced Professional - Applications Engineering. Baker Hughes in Saudi Arabia seeks a seasoned Applications Engineer to drive well construction projects, design profiles, and provide product recommendations to optimize client outcomes.

This role requires 7+ years in oil and gas, a Bachelor's in engineering, travel, and on-call flexibility. You will collaborate across teams, support field initiatives, and uphold safety and reliability

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant field.
7+ years of experience in oil and gas.
3+ years of application engineering experience within well construction.
Prior Baker Hughes experience as an application engineer in Well Construction.
Ability to travel to rig sites and customer facilities; on-call outside normal hours.
Understanding of P/L and technical job planning requirements.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
Collaborate with Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesperson to understand client objectives.
Design well profiles and perform applications engineering tasks including risk/contingency plans.
Address field incidents and participate in investigations as required.
Provide sales support and product application recommendations.
