Job summary

Lantern Systems Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced Draftsman – Electrical & ELV to create, update, and maintain engineering drawings and CAD models for Electrical, Telecom, ELV, and Security Systems.

You will support design development, IFC/As-Built documentation, and document control across the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of drafting experience in related fields, with strong knowledge of electrical/ELV drafting standards and the ability to interpret specifications and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of drafting experience in Electrical, Telecom, ELV, or Security System projects.
• Experience in EPC, industrial, infrastructure, oil & gas, utility, or HCIS security projects is preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications, vendor drawings, and design calculations.
• Knowledge of electrical and ELV drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings: Concept, IFR, IFI, IFC, As-Built, Shop, Detailed Installation Drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision history; ensure CAD standards and document numbering.
• Support engineering deliverables for client submissions and consultant reviews.
• Coordinate with engineers, construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors; review site conditions and update drawings with red-line markups.

We're Hiring | Draftsman – Electrical & ELV

We are looking for an experienced Draftsman – Electrical & ELV to join our team.

Job Purpose

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing, updating, and maintaining engineering drawings and CAD models for Electrical, Telecommunications, ELV, and Security Systems in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, international standards, and company drafting procedures.

The role supports design development, construction documentation, IFC/As-Built drawing preparation, and document control activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drawing & Documentation Control

Prepare the following drawings:

• Concept Drawings
• IFR (Issued for Review) Drawings
• IFI (Issued for Information) Drawings
• IFC (Issued for Construction) Drawings
• As-Built Drawings
• Shop Drawings
• Detailed Installation Drawings

Additional responsibilities:

• Maintain drawing registers and revision history.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project CAD standards, drafting procedures, and document numbering systems.
• Support preparation of engineering deliverables for Aconex, client submissions, and consultant reviews.

2. Coordination & Site Support

• Coordinate with engineers, construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors for drawing development.
• Review site conditions and update drawings based on red-line markups.
• Support technical queries and drawing clarifications during construction.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Drafting or a related field.

Experience & Technical Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of drafting experience in Electrical, Telecom, ELV, or Security System projects.
