Job summary
Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE) seeks an Assistant Boat Captain to support safe operations of dive center vessels at The Red Sea destination. You will work closely with the Boat Captain to ensure readiness, navigation, and guest safety in a luxury marine setting.
The role emphasizes vessel prep, safety drills, and smooth guest experiences, with growth toward Boat Captain in a premium marine tourism environment.
Qualifications
- Relevant marine experience, preferably in dive or tourism settings.
- Basic knowledge of vessel operations and safety protocols.
- Experience supporting boat operations or as a deckhand is preferred.
- Familiarity with diving operations and handling divers is an advantage.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of boats and outboard engines is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Support Boat Captain in safe navigation and operation of dive center vessels.
- Assist with daily vessel preparation, safety checks, and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vessels and onboard areas to high standards.
- Assist with mooring, anchoring, docking, and vessel handling as directed.
- Support dive center operations, including cylinder handling and equipment loading/unloading.
- Contribute to a positive, professional onboard environment for guests and crew.
