Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a District Manager for Carrefour in the KSA to drive store performance and synergies across functions. The role requires shaping the national concept, enforcing company policies, and ensuring optimal product presentation in line with strategic goals.

The candidate will lead store teams, monitor performance, and coordinate with senior management while driving training initiatives and stakeholder engagement to deliver strong results in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in a relevant field (MBA preferred).
• 10 years' experience in a similar role, with at least 3 years in retail (supermarkets).
• Demonstrated high level skills in team management.
• Good business communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper conservation, utilization and profitability of store assets in the country; guarantee store visits in assigned stores.
• Support development of the national concept and oversee its application within the country.
• Ensure implementation of MAF Retail policies and compliance with laws and regulations of the operating country.
• Apply product assortment structure and maintain product presentation quality.
• Support new projects during the whole project phase and coordinate synergies between functions.
• Ensure promotional image is maintained for assigned stores.
• Assist with performance management by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and providing inputs to senior management.
• Provide inputs on training needs and coordinate with the HC department to facilitate training requirements.
