Job summary

Team Saudi is seeking a seasoned procurement contracts leader to govern the entire contract lifecycle from planning and drafting to negotiation, approval and closure. The role ensures contracts meet business needs, provide value for money, and protect the organization’s interests while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract planning with Procurement and requesting departments and select suitable contract types and commercial terms.
• Oversee contract drafting and review to ensure the scope, deliverables, prices, payment terms, timelines and responsibilities are clear.
• Ensure contracts receive the required reviews and approvals before signature and work begins.
• Work with Legal, Finance and business teams to identify contract risks and agree suitable controls.
• Monitor contract obligations, key dates, supplier performance and agreed service levels with contract owners.
• Oversee contract changes, extensions, renewals and termination, ensuring proper justification, review and approval.
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and coordinate legal terms with the Legal department.
• Oversee contract closure, including confirmation of completed obligations and coordination of final settlements with Finance and contract owners.
• Maintain standard contract templates and clauses with Legal, and keep a complete, secure and current contract register.
• Keep contracting practices aligned with applicable local and international procurement laws and regulations, internal policies and relevant global practices.

Job description

Lead the procurement contracting department and manage the contract lifecycle, from planning and drafting to negotiation, approval, performance monitoring and closure. Build strong stakeholder relationships and improve contracting through clear policies, procedures and automation.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Contracting

• Lead contract planning with Procurement and requesting departments and select suitable contract types and commercial terms.
