FAENA The Red Sea is seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Director of Sales to lead the resort's global sales strategy and position one of the world’s most anticipated luxury destinations within the international luxury travel market.

This leadership role drives revenue growth through strategic planning, business development, and long-term client partnerships while leading a high-performing sales team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive sales leadership experience within luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong knowledge of luxury travel distribution, international sales, and key source markets.
  • Experience managing strategic accounts, contract negotiations, and business development initiatives.
  • Excellent commercial, financial, and analytical acumen.
  • Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong understanding of revenue management principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with Revenue teams.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are highly desirable.
  • Experience with luxury hotel pre-openings is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across ownership, corporate offices, and key industry partners while representing the FAENA brand at the highest level.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the resort's sales strategy to maximise revenue across Leisure, Corporate, Entertainment, MICE, Consortia, and Wholesale.
  • Lead and inspire the Sales team to operate with a high-performance culture focused on results.
  • Identify opportunities and cultivate partnerships with luxury travel advisors, agencies, corporate accounts, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimise pricing, segmentation, forecasting, and performance.
  • Represent FAENA The Red Sea at international trade shows and luxury travel events.
  • Monitor KPIs, reporting, and analytics to adjust plans and drive results.
  • Ensure seamless handover from sales to guest experience and long-term client satisfaction.

Job Description

FAENA The Red Sea is seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Director of Sales to lead the resort's global sales strategy and position one of the world's most anticipated luxury lifestyle destinations within the international luxury travel market. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales planning, business development, and long-term client partnerships while strengthening the resort's presence across international luxury leisure, corporate, entertainment, and MICE markets.

Working collaboratively with Marketing, Revenue Management, Reservations, and Operations, the Director of Sales will develop innovative sales strategies, build long-term relationships with key stakeholders, and lead a high-performing sales team to maximise business across all market segments. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive luxury hospitality experience, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the resort's sales strategy to maximise revenue, market share, and long-term business growth.
  • Lead and inspire the Sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results, collaboration, and continuous development.
  • Drive business across all key market segments including Leisure, Corporate, Entertainment, MICE, Consortia, and Wholesale.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strategic partnerships with luxury travel advisors, agencies, corporate accounts, and industry partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel partners, and stakeholders to generate repeat and new business.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to optimise pricing strategies, market segmentation, forecasting, and sales performance.
  • Partner with Marketing & Communications to develop integrated sales campaigns, promotional initiatives, and brand activations that support commercial objectives.
  • Prepare and execute sales plans, budgets, forecasts, and business development strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and maintain competitive positioning.
  • Lead contract negotiations and commercial agreements with key accounts and strategic partners.
  • Represent FAENA The Red Sea at international trade shows, luxury travel events, sales missions, and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor sales performance through KPIs, reporting, and business analytics, implementing action plans where required.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure a seamless transition from sales to guest experience and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Manage the departmental budget while ensuring efficient use of resources and return on investment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and commercial governance.
  • Support pre-opening commercial activities, including market positioning, account acquisition, and business development initiatives.
