Job summary

Front End Limited Company (FELCO) seeks a Director of Procurement to lead maritime and offshore procurement across eight solution verticals including Offshore Energy, Geoscience, AI, Autonomy, Mobility and Mining. The role reports to the Chairman & CEO and requires deep BIMCO, MLC 2006, OCIMF knowledge to drive supplier governance and strategic sourcing.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years in procurement, with 5+ years in senior leadership, and a proven track record with Aramco/SABIC

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a director-level or senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated expertise in maritime and offshore procurement vessel spares, charter party obligations, and offshore support operations.
• Working knowledge of BIMCO standard contracts (SUPPLYTIME, SHIPMAN, CREWMAN, GENCON, etc.) and their implications.
• Solid understanding of OCIMF TMSA, SIRE, and MLC 2006 supply chain compliance.
• Direct experience managing procurement for Saudi Aramco or SABIC-linked projects, including AVL/SRMS familiarity.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Preferred: CIPS qualification; BIMCO membership or credentials.
• Experience across multiple sectors beyond maritime energy is valued.
• Saudi national or GCC national preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all procurement for offshore vessel operations and related equipment and services.
• Manage procurement obligations from Saudi Aramco time charter agreements and ensure compliance with schedules.
• Apply BIMCO standard contracts in vendor agreements and align procurement docs with best practice.
• Coordinate with marine operations to align procurement with vessel schedules and maintenance windows.
• Build and govern supplier base and lead major contract negotiations.
• Drive enterprise-wide sourcing strategy across all Front End verticals and manage spend by category.
