Job summary

Ma'aden Aluminium Company (MAC) seeks a Director of Industrial Artificial Intelligence to shape the AI strategy and portfolio across mining and processing operations. You will lead the transition from experimentation to production, align AI with OT and enterprise tech, and build governance, partnerships, and responsible AI practices to scale impact across Ma'aden.

Qualifications

Requires a Master’s in AI/Data Science/related field; PhD preferred.
15 years of relevant experience with at least 7 years in AI/advanced analytics or digital transformation.
Experience in mining, metals, energy, manufacturing or asset-intensive environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Shape and evolve Industrial AI strategy and investment portfolio across exploration, mining, processing and assets.
Drive measurable improvements in safety, productivity, energy efficiency and sustainability via AI solutions.
Lead production-grade AI capabilities and ensure scalable integration with OT/IT systems.
Govern AI solutions with performance, security, data governance, and responsible AI requirements.
Build partnerships across operations, engineering, IT, and external technology providers to scale adoption.
