Job summary

RETAL seeks an Development Manager to oversee end-to-end project developments, including commercial and project management, and stakeholder coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and quality. The role requires deep experience in real estate development across GCC, with exposure to hotel/branded residences and high-rise projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture/civil engineering.
• Experience in five-star hotel projects / branded residences / high-rise apartments.
• Experience in preparation of RFP, contracts, and tenders.
• Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience in project management and construction management, in real estate development.
• At least 4 years in a development role at GCC.
• Strong understanding of managing business plans, company development, financial awareness/control, and delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing project developments (potentially multiple projects) from start to finish, including commercial management and project management, and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Provide technical assistance regarding local, state, and national affordable housing programs.
• Leasing, partnership negotiations, architecture, construction contracts, and all other legal aspects.
• Identify partnership opportunities to support the company’s strategic priorities on projects.
• Support identification of potential new projects that can be undertaken by the company.
• Develop a business case for identified projects in consultation with senior leaders.
• Monitor day-to-day relationships with partners and establish metrics to analyze partner performance.
• Monitor coordination to manage project sites and logistics, project documentation, cost and working capital management.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the approved quality.
• Coordinate induction of facility management services around the newly developed facilities prior to commissioning.
• Ensure knowledge management database is updated with accurate information.
• Ensure each project is tracked for schedule, budget, feasibility, and client sign-offs.
• Focus on delivery of construction-related projects in line with timetable and requirements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture/civil engineering.
• Experience in five-star hotel projects / branded residences / high-rise apartments / high-rise 50+ floors / hotel packaging & procurement from client-side / developer-side.
• Experience in preparation of RFP, contracts, and Tenders
• Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience in project management and construction management, in real estate development
• At least 4 years in a development role at GCC
• Strong understanding of managing business plans, company development, financial awareness/control, and delivery of projects.
