Job summary

AtkinsRéalis invites applications for a Design Manager role based in Saudi Arabia, supporting PMC Senior Project Managers to oversee Client appointed Lead Design Consultants (LDC) on multiple development projects (RIBA Stages 1–4). You will drive design coordination, risk reviews, and reporting with a structured, safe, and compliant approach.

The position requires a strong background in architecture/engineering, 7+ years of PM/PMC experience, and proficiency in BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering.
7+ years' experience as Design Manager on similar projects.
Proficient with BIM, Revit and AutoCAD.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Knowledge of asset types, regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

Oversee LDC activities and coordinate designs across stages to align with the project brief.
Manage design reviews, change management, and reporting to ensure schedule and budget adherence.
Coordinate cost management, value engineering and constructability input.
Facilitate design workshops and progress meetings with stakeholders.
Ensure completeness of SOWs for bidding and production of contract documents.
Identify and mitigate design risks throughout the design process.
