Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an experienced Design Manager in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering major infrastructure and land development projects. You will coordinate across disciplines, manage design deliverables, and ensure quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met.

The role requires extensive experience with master-planned developments, highways, and public realm projects, plus strong stakeholder engagement with government entities and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 15 years' experience in engineering consultancy environments
• Proven experience as a Design Manager or Design Lead on major infrastructure projects
• Experience delivering infrastructure for large-scale master-planned developments and land development projects
• Strong KSA project experience with local authority requirements
• Experience working for leading international engineering consultancies

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams across infrastructure and land development projects
• Manage end-to-end design from concept to construction support while upholding quality
• Develop and implement design management plans and delivery strategies
• Coordinate across roads, utilities, drainage, public realm, transport, and structures
• Monitor progress against scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives
• Support client meetings, workshops, and progress presentations
• Provide strategic technical leadership and ensure efficient use of resources
• Oversee design change processes and scope control
• Mentor and develop multidisciplinary design teams
