Job summary

Asteri Beauty is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to develop and manage 12-18 month forecasts and drive alignment across finance, marketing, and sales in a fast-paced FMCG setting.

You will lead monthly S&OP reviews, analyze historical data and promotional activity, and perform root-cause analysis to improve forecast accuracy. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or related field, with 5+ years in demand planning.
• Experience in Beauty or FMCG industries.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision skills.
• Proficiency in English and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage 12-18 month demand forecasts and recommend actions to hit targets.
• Lead monthly S&OP/IBP forecast reviews with cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, supply chain, sales).
• Analyze historical sales, market trends, and promo activity to improve item-level demand plans and performance insights.
• Conduct root cause analysis on forecast variances and implement corrective actions.

Job description

• Develop, implement, and manage 12-18 months channel, category, account, and item level demand forecasts. Recommend actions needed to achieve target levels.
• Leading monthly IBP (S&OP) forecast review, including participation in cross functional meetings to drive alignment between demand forecasts and business strategies involving finance, marketing, supply chain, and sales.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to assess product and category performance, ensure trends are appropriately captured in item level demand plans, including base item and promotional forecasting, event planning, and weekly/monthly performance analysis and insights.
• Conduct root cause analysis on forecast variances, implement corrective actions to improve accuracy.

Supply Planning

• Build Ideal Stock levels by location considering Supply reaction time including all lead times.
• Ensure stock availability by location. Inbound Warehouse replenishment from suppliers, outbound stores’ replenishment, and outbound Sell-In to B2B customers.
• Manage inventory including stock liquidation proposals to avoid over-stock by location.
• Novelties supply planning in close collaboration with New Products Development and Marketing teams.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Business Administration or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning within Beauty or FMCG industries.
• Strong process-focused communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge in forecasting tools, methodologies, and best practices with an understanding of financial and operational impacts on process partners.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills, detail oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Advanced Excel experience. Proficiency in English.
