Job summary

CAE's Defence & Security unit is seeking an experienced Commercial / Contracts manager to provide contractual and commercial support in bidding and managing contracts within the CAE EMEA region.

You will liaise with customers and CAE legal, develop and negotiate contracts, support bid teams, and ensure compliance with terms. The role involves travel up to 25% and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Five years of bid support and commercial contracts experience in defence/aerospace/government procurement.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as focal point for contractual matters with customers; establish and manage relationships.
• Review customer agreements and provide CAE position with legal counsel.
• Contribute to bid teams; generate commercial responses to RFPs and assist in proposal documentation.
• Support negotiation strategy and participate in contract negotiations to meet business needs.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts and amendments with CAE legal; ensure compliance with terms.
