Job summary

Client of AIQU in Medina is seeking an experienced Database Specialist to lead the design, implementation and management of Oracle database environments supporting national operations.

You will optimize performance, ensure security and availability, and mentor junior DBAs while collaborating with cross-functional teams on data projects. This on-site role requires 10–12 years of hands-on Oracle experience and strong automation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10–12 years of hands-on experience in database administration and management.
• Expertise as an Oracle DBA, including installation, patching, and upgrades.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
• Deep understanding of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Database Specialist National based in Medina to lead the design implementation and management of enterprise-level Oracle database systems supporting national operations The ideal candidate will ensure database performance security and availability drive automation initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions

Responsibilities

Design install configure and maintain Oracle database environmentsDevelop test and optimize complex PL SQL packages triggers and scriptsImplement and manage backup recovery and high availability solutionsMonitor database performance and perform tuning capacity planning and scalability assessmentsAutomate routine tasks deployments and monitoring workflows using scripting and orchestration toolsTroubleshoot and resolve production database incidents ensuring minimal downtimeEnforce data integrity security policies and compliance standardsCollaborate with development infrastructure and data management teams to support application releases and data projectsCreate and maintain comprehensive database documentation runbooks and standard operating proceduresMentor junior DBAs and provide technical leadership on database best practices

Qualifications
