Job summary

Riyad Bank in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Data Governance Lead to drive the development, implementation and monitoring of the bank’s enterprise data strategy and governance controls in alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with Data Quality, Master Data, Metadata, Data Privacy, and BI teams to advance governance maturity, report KPIs, and enable ongoing improvements across policies, controls, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems, Information Systems or Computer Science.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in Data Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Bank’s Enterprise Data Strategy.
• Develop and monitor data governance controls, standards, policies, and procedures across the Bank.
• Track the execution of strategic data initiatives and report progress against roadmaps and KPIs.
• Coordinate with business and technology stakeholders to align data initiatives with business priorities.
• Establish governance mechanisms to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to data management.
• Monitor data governance maturity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support enterprise-wide data governance forums and committees by preparing reports, dashboards, and decision-support materials.
• Coordinate the implementation of data-related regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Data Quality, Master Data, Metadata, Data Privacy, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure consistent governance practices.
• Lead assigned strategic initiatives and perform other related duties as required.

Job description

To lead the development, Implementation, and monitoring of the RB enterprise data strategy and governance controls, Ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements and data management standards while driving continues improvement in data governance capabilities.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Assist the development and execution of the Data Strategy & Control policies, procedures and controls for all sources of the data.

Day- to-Day Operations:

• Perform the day-to-day activities and ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures

Job Related Accountabilities:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management System, Information Systems or Computer Science or Related Filed
• 6-8 years relevant experience in Data Management
