Job summary

Intelmatix is seeking a motivated Data Science Intern to join our Technology team starting from 1-Oct-2026 to gain hands-on experience building data-driven solutions for our Decision Intelligence platform. You will work with experienced data scientists and ML engineers on real-world analytical projects.

Qualifications include pursuing or recently completing a relevant bachelor's degree, basic Python or R, and a solid foundation in statistics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Basic knowledge of Python or R programming.
• Foundational understanding of statistics and probability concepts.
• Familiarity with Pandas/NumPy for data manipulation.
• Good MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources to support analytical projects.
• Perform basic exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and patterns under supervision.
• Support development of statistical models and ML experiments by preparing data and documenting results.
• Create simple data visualizations and summary reports to communicate findings to the team.
• Assist in maintaining data documentation, metadata records, and analytical workflow logs.
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Conduct research on data science techniques, tools, and industry trends as assigned.
• Support senior data scientists with ad-hoc data requests and analysis tasks.
