Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex Data Centre projects across the region within a multidisciplinary design consultancy.

The role requires leadership of integrated design teams across architecture, building engineering, specialist disciplines, infrastructure, utilities and master planning, ensuring high-quality design solutions that meet client, regulatory and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience within a design practice.
• Experience of managing Data Centre projects through multiple phases of delivery.
• Strong client-facing experience, preferably within consultancy, engineering, or project delivery environment.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, governance, and reporting processes.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and quality requirements.
• Proven track record of delivering projects successfully and meeting client expectations.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of Data Centre projects from initiation through to completion.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining effective working relationships and regular communication.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and integrated project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and performance against agreed objectives and deliverables.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Facilitate design coordination across internal and externally appointed subconsultants and subject matter experts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, health and safety requirements, and client expectations.
• Support coordination with stakeholders, authorities, contractors, consultants, and other third parties
• Support design assurance and technical governance processes.
• Assist in securing necessary approvals, permits, and stakeholder agreements where required.
• Review project deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards and project requirements.
• Prepare project reports and provide accurate updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support commercial management activities, including cost control, change management, and contract administration.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of project management best practices.
