Job summary

Norconsult Telematics Limited in Damascus Governorate, Syria, seeks an Acceptance Handover Manager to plan, manage and control the acceptance and handover of a data centre and critical facilities project, ensuring all works are inspected, tested and verified to contract, design and performance requirements.

You will coordinate FAT, SAT and IST, manage punch-lists, compile handover packs and ensure operations teams are prepared, with clear progress reporting to the Sr. Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years in construction, testing and commissioning or handover of major projects.
• 5+ years in acceptance or handover management for data centres or mega infrastructure.
• Knowledge of MV/LV power, UPS, generators, precision cooling, fire systems and ELV/BMS.
• CxA or PMP certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the acceptance and handover plan with stages and documentation.
• Review testing plans and ITPs to ensure alignment with contract requirements.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT and IST for critical infrastructure systems.
• Verify compliance with drawings and specs before acceptance.
• Manage snagging and punch-list process and close-out verification.
• Compile acceptance documentation, test records, warranties and drawings.
• Chair acceptance meetings and track actions to closure.
• Plan phased handovers and interface management between construction, testing and operations.
• Ensure training for client operations and maintenance staff is planned and delivered.
• Prepare acceptance certificates, handover packs and close-out reports.
