Job summary

JAL International Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Data Center Planner to join the Data Centers & Critical Facilities / Information Technology team.

You will lead capacity planning for hosting, prepare racking diagrams, and oversee DC operations activities to ensure smooth, scalable infrastructure. The ideal candidate has 5+ years IT experience with 3 in data centers, strong APC infrastructure experience, and solid Windows/Linux server troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• BS or Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years IT experience with 3 in Data Centers
• APC infrastructure experience required
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux configurations
• Strong copper and fiber cabling knowledge
• Knowledge of UPS and HVAC basics
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends

Responsibilities

• Capacity planning for Data Center hosting
• Prepare racking diagrams and coordinate rack deployments
• Oversee racking and related activities by DC Operations
• Manage Data Center Operations shift schedules
• Coordinate interbuilding connectivity with OSP/ISP teams
• Manage the Data Center Asset Register
• Coordinate vendors and hardware break/fix activities
• Support troubleshooting of Windows/Linux server hardware issues
• Monitor critical infrastructure including UPS, HVAC, fire detection & suppression, temperature, humidity, security, and power systems
• Ensure Copper and Fiber cabling compliance with TIA-942 standards
