Job summary

A prominent engineering firm in Riyadh is seeking a Data Center Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing, operating, and maintaining mechanical and HVAC systems. The engineer will oversee the operation and maintenance of cooling systems, ensure compliance with safety standards, and support the Facility Manager in achieving operational excellence. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3–5 years of experience with HVAC systems, and strong leadership skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical/HVAC systems within data centers or critical facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of cooling systems, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, and airflow management.
  • Certifications such as CDCP, HVAC Professional, or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operation and maintenance of chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, cooling towers, pumps, and piping systems.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical and HVAC equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with local mechanical codes, ASHRAE guidelines, and company policies.
  • Assist in mechanical design and commissioning for data center expansions or upgrades.
