Job summary

SGS is seeking a BMS / SCADA Specialist- Data Center Specialist to lead BMS/SCADA activities across the full project lifecycle, from design reviews through commissioning and handover. You will validate architecture, networks, and graphics, and integrate systems with data center critical components using BACnet, Modbus, and OPC protocols.

The role requires 7–10 years in BMS/SCADA, hands-on platform experience (Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, etc.), and strong knowledge of data center operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in BMS / SCADA systems; data center or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with BMS/SCADA platforms (e.g., Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, ABB, Rockwell).
• Proficiency in industrial communication protocols (BACnet IP/MSTP, Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC, SNMP).
• Ability to read and interpret control drawings, network diagrams, and sequences of operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute BMS and SCADA activities across the full project lifecycle, including design review, configuration, installation support, testing, commissioning, IST, and final handover.
• Review and validate architecture, points lists, network topology, control schematics, sequences of operation, and graphics.
• Configure, program, test, and troubleshoot BMS/SCADA systems including controllers, servers, HMIs, databases, and alarm management.
• Integrate BMS/SCADA with data center critical systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, CRAH/CRAC, fire alarm, DCIM) using standard protocols.
• Support IST to validate logic, alarms, interlocks, redundancy, and sequences; coordinate FAT/SAT site testing with stakeholders.
